On this approximately 200-person contract, Jacobs provides engineering support services for weapons system development for the NAWCWD at multiple on-site and off-site locations with the focal point of operations at China Lake and Pt. Mugu, CA, and Patuxent River, MD. Overall areas of support include systems engineering, test and evaluation, technical data support, configuration management, integrated logistics support, technical data management support, transition engineering, and management support services. We also provide comprehensive support for the design, acquisition, test, and sustainment of principle DOD weapon systems, including support for all phases of the acquisition cycle ranging from research and technology programs to deployment and sustainment engineering. A few of the many programs we support include NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and joint U.S. Navy/Air Force programs such as AMRAAM, Tomahawk, HARPOON, Evolved SeaSparrow Missile, and AIM-9X.
