More about Mike

Mike Dawson brings an engineering, management, and military background to his role as General Manager of Jacobs Technology’s Manufacturing Support and Facility Operations Contract (MSFOC). With more than 28 years experience supporting NASA and manned space flight programs, he understands MSFOC’s mission, program attributes, culture, and challenges. Recognized across NASA, industry, and the DOD as a national expert on rocket test facilities and capabilities, Mike has served as a Business Development Principal and NASA Consultant for Jacobs Technology since 2007. Mike is married to Kaye Dawson and they have three children, Cooper, Dixie, and Lee.

Prior to joining Jacobs Technology, Mike served at Stennis Space Center (SSC) in various management roles including Associate Director, Director of Business Management, and Manager of the Propulsion Test Program Office. In addition to his long history with NASA, Mike has also served our country for more than 26 years as a proud member of the U.S. Air Force (USAF). He most recently served as the Mission Support Group Commander for the USAF Reserve where he was responsible for logistics, security and base defense, civil engineering, food services, and training reservists prior to deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan.
