Comprehensive Occupational Resources (CORE) is a Louisiana-based small business formed in 1997 as a staffing company providing hospital-based occupational medicine and health programs. Over the past 11 years, CORE has become a leader in medical surveillance, travel medicine, Department of Transportation (DOT) issues, worker’s compensation case management, and off-site testing. They serve many areas of industry including chemical, petrochemical, nuclear power, and many other industrial specialties. CORE’s niche is medical staffing for companies, especially industrial firms and contractors, which use CORE’s staff of physician’s assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and paramedics on a contract basis. CORE is expanding their services in several new directions including occupational pharmacy, medical equipment, health data management, safety, wellness, and physical therapy. CORE currently supports Jacobs on our AEDC contract, where they operate the medical clinic.
