| We have provided test and
evaluation support to DoD, NASA, and industry for more than 40 years.
It remains a major part of our business base. Our support services
have included all aspects of T&E: test planning (Test and Evaluation
Master Plan [TEMP]); test concept and methodology development; test
execution; data reduction and analysis; and test reporting. The
systems supported have included aircraft, propulsion systems, ordnance
and missile systems, commercial and military ground vehicles, space
systems, and test and training range systems. In addition, we have
also supported T&E of associated subsystems such as fuzes, guidance
and control systems, terminal seekers, etc. The types of testing
have included a wide variety to include flight-testing, wind tunnel,
hardware-in-the-loop, and other ground testing. For example, we
support the Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office (AFSEO) in the execution
of the USAF store certification programs. This requires extensive
support of a variety of testing and is supplemented with modeling
and simulation. Test support includes wind tunnel and flight testing
to determine store separation trajectories and characteristics,
instrumented flight flutter testing, static load testing, in-flight
structural testing, mass properties testing, vibration testing,
physical fit tests, EMI/EMC testing, stability and control flight
and wind tunnel testing, and aircraft performance testing. For example,
our engineers developed EMI/EMC modeling and simulation capability
to predict electromagnetic field strengths resulting from internal
and external sources of electromagnetic energy. We also provided
verification and validation (V&V) during subsequent testing.
Recent tests have involved F-15, F-16, F-22, F-117, B-52, and B-1
aircraft and JASSM, JDAM, JSOW, AIM-9, and AMRAAM weapon systems.
T&E support will continue to be a major part of our engineering
services at all of our organizational segments. It includes requirements
analysis, systems engineering, acquisition support, independent
analysis, and various forms of modeling and simulation. |
