Our Approach/Solution The primary task of the JSLNBCRS IPT was to integrate state-of-the-art detectors and software along with commercial-off-the-shelf and non-developmental items to generate NBC variants of the High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) and the Light Armored Vehicle (LAV). Our engineers used the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT) to develop Life-Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE). These estimates incorporated legacy and commercial subsystems, as well as the Logistics Entry and Analysis Database System (LEADS), to develop Logistics Support Analysis Reports. This information was used in the Logistics Management Information System (LMIS) for developing allowances. We also used the Statement of Work and Contract Data Requirements List and Tracking Tool (SCATT) to support the program. Results and Benefits We provided a number of deliverables for the JSLNBCRS program, including: master program schedules; improvements and analyses of the logistics support analysis database; a system support package meeting the requirements of all four DoD services; Statements of Work to support the low rate initial production for the system; Contract Data Requirements Lists; LMIS for several vehicle variants; a long-lead items and parts database; and design of the primary inventory control activity. All deliverables were produced and coordinated in a joint Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD) environment. Our MARCORSYSCOM customer recognized our outstanding performance in support of this program with a customer performance rating of 95.5 %.
