Bruce Mills, ETASS General Manager

Bruce Mills is a Jacobs Technology Vice President who brings a professional background that combines an engineering degree, a business degree, and a technical management degree with extensive systems management experience. He understands the Air Force, particularly the systems acquisition aspects of the Air Force, having served in dozens of acquisition roles throughout his 26-year Air Force career. Bruce understands the ESC's mission, program attributes, culture, and challenges, having served a five-year tour at Hanscom within the ESC organization. Bruce also recognizes and understands the challenges and issues that the ESC leadership faces on a day-to-day basis, having served as the Air Force's Program Director on two ESC ACAT I programs – JTIDS and JSTARS. With this background, Bruce possesses a detailed understanding of the critical systems acquisition issues on the customer side as well as a stellar track record providing leadership on the service provider side.

Just as important as his Air Force and DOD experience, Bruce brings seasoned industry experience to ETASS. A Jacobs employee for 12 years, Bruce has worked and been a key leader in two of our segments – the Technical and Engineering Acquisition Services (TEAS) Group at Eglin AFB and the Unified Special Operations Group (USOG) for the U.S. Special Operations Command at MacDill AFB, Florida. At TEAS, Bruce served as the Director for PEO programs. In this position, Bruce served as the Principal Systems Engineer (SE) on two high-profile ACAT 1 programs – JASSM and JDAM. At USOG, Bruce served as the General Manager for this segment which provides systems engineering and technical support for special forces units fighting the global war on terror.
