About ETASS

The Engineering and Technology Acquisition Support Services (ETASS) contract will provide a broad range of engineering experience in support of the Electronic Systems Center's (ESC's) programs located at Hanscom AFB and their geographically separated units. These may include all or a subset of the engineering spectrum with engineering skill sets in related disciplines. This spectrum encompasses the engineering requirements of program/project engineering, systems engineering/system architecting, system of systems engineering, and enterprise systems engineering. These engineering capabilities may include but are not limited to a required knowledge base in the following skill sets:

Core Skill Sets: Software, networking, information technology, electronic, electrical, mechanical, system, civil/construction, and communications
Integration Specialty Skill Sets: Human factors, human/machine interface, high power computing, modeling and simulation, radar, sensors, aircraft integration, nuclear/hardening, environmental, COMSEC, electromagnetic compatibility, network, and communications
Technical Skill Sets: Operational safety/suitability/effectiveness, reliability/maintainability, computer resources, test and evaluation, configuration/data management, production and manufacturing, quality assurance, and lifecycle logistics

The ETASS contractor will provide disciplined systems/specialty engineering and technical support to the ESC Engineering Directorate (EN) and the ESC Wings and Squadrons in support of their technical missions. The ETASS contract focuses on development and deployment of a consistent approach to the application of a consistent set of systems engineering processes for all ESC programs based on a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) framework.
