Brief Description – The DESP III Program includes a broad range of design and engineering/technical support services for the DOD. DESP III is the follow-on contract to DESP II under which Jacobs provides support to DOD agencies, including a variety of engineering and technical services for the USAF and U.S. Army. Typical projects and activities include: A-10 structural analysis and repair tooling/procedures; engineering services in support of munitions sustainment; development, design, and installation of equipment and tools to enhance depot maintenance for the C-5, C-130, C-17 and F-15; technical support to improve efficiency of depot maintenance for aircraft such as the C-5, C-130, C-17, F-15, and KC-135; support for advancement of future technologies for U.S. Army ground vehicles; and technical support to USAF test and training ranges.
