United States Air Force
USAF photo: F-22 in flight Jacobs’ support to the U.S. Air Force dates back to the design of wind tunnels at Wright Field during World War II and to the inception of Arnold Engineering Development Center, where we have provided continuous support since 1950. Additionally, we have partnered with the Air Armament Center since 1986. Our portfolio encompasses ground test support to nearly every type of aerodynamic and rocket propulsion flight program, and we have supported virtually every type of air armament system. Services to programs and locations worldwide include acquisition engineering, systems engineering, systems integration, technology research and development, lifecycle sustainment and service life extension, test and evaluation, information engineering, operations and maintenance, and enterprise information services.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration
NASA Shuttle Space Walk Jacobs provides long-term engineering, scientific, and technical services at eight major sites for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Our partnership with NASA dates back to the Mercury Program and has increased dramatically within the last half decade – from 600 to more than 3,500 professionals solely dedicated to supporting NASA programs. At locations nationwide, Jacobs is partnering with our NASA customer in support of the next-generation space exploration vision – embodied most notably in the Constellation Program. Overall, our support includes research and development, spacecraft systems development, comprehensive engineering support, scientific research and applications, payload development and integration, information technology, facilities management, operation and maintenance, and even business services.

United States Army
Jacobs provides a breadth of technology services to the U.S. Army – one of our core customers – in the areas of test and evaluation engineering, operations and maintenance, and enterprise information services. We support U.S. Army systems that deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter by providing services such as lifecycle acquisition and development, testing, engineering, and operations and maintenance of munitions and land and air vehicles, related equipment, and facilities. Jacobs has been supporting the Department of Defense (DOD) for more than 60 years – beginning during World War II with the design and construction of airfields in the Western Pacific Ocean – and continuing to today as we provide mission-critical support to all branches of the DOD.

United States Navy
Jacobs’ half-century-plus support to the Department of Defense (DOD) includes the U.S. Navy. Most prominently, we have continuously supported the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) since 1995. Our partnership of providing engineering and test and evaluation support to Naval and joint service programs at Naval and Air Force Bases and laboratories nationwide includes weapons systems development, meteorological and oceanographic programs, and airborne threat systems. Programs and systems experience includes Joint Strike Fighter airframe and engine research development and testing; F/A 18 system test and weapon integration; Evolved SeaSparrow engineering analysis; analysis of surface and submarine variants of the Tomahawk Cruise Missile; and tests for the Navy Standard Missile propulsion and sensor system, JASSM and JDAM missiles, and torpedo shock tests.

United States Special Operations Command
Jacobs provides a variety of engineering, technical, operational, and information technology services to the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in support of its planning, direction, and execution of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). USSOCOM has made great strides since the September 11, 2001 attacks to rapidly and successfully expand from a command primarily focused on training and equipping Special Operations Forces to becoming our Nation’s lead command for planning and executing the GWOT. We have supported the USSOCOM in its responsibilities for training and equipping Special Forces to perform their mission anywhere in the world at any time, including developing, acquiring, fielding, and supporting special operations-peculiar equipment, material, supplies, and other support elements for more than 11 years. Today, we support USSOCOM systems by providing expertise in a wide range of mission-critical activities, including test and evaluation, acquisitions/logistics, information operations, intelligence support, mission analysis, advanced technology programs, readiness support, intelligence, special projects, financial management, engineering and operational support, and information technology.
