CMMI – Technical Reviews

Client − Project Management, engineers, and quality assurance

Purpose − Provide detailed training on planning and execution of project technical reviews for software development projects. Proper preparation, efficient execution, and rapid follow-up of closure action items are stressed. Planning for the efficient integration of Technical Reviews into the project’s life cycle is discussed. Lean/agile approaches to technical reviews are provided and discussed.

Client Preparation − Have understanding of basic software life cycle and concurrent engineering practices. Be exposed to tenets of the Capability Maturity Model Integration®.

Expected Outcomes − Student will be able to develop a strategy for technical reviews that meet the needs of the project, and be able to plan and execute a CMMI® compliant technical review.
