CMMI – Requirements Management

Client − Project Management, engineers, and quality assurance

Purpose − Develop and discuss CMMI® compliant practices for requirements management. Requirement management mechanisms are discussed, and several examples provided. Lean and spiral development approaches to requirements management are discussed.

Client Preparation − Have understanding of basic software life cycle and concurrent engineering practices. Be exposed to tenets of the Capability Maturity Model Integration®.

Expected Outcomes − Student will be capable of managing or supporting the management of requirements throughout the project’s life cycle.
