Brief Description – This contract provides Information Technology (IT) systems and services necessary to support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) requirements for IT solutions within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other Government agencies . Contracting through CIO-SP2i offers Federal Agencies the advantage of a streamlined, web-based procurement process with award possible in as little as three days. Jacobs provides information technology (IT) development and support for the systems, equipment, hardware, software and support to researchers and clinicians visiting from other countries, library services, medical arts and publications, lab, biological, chemical and radiation safety, regulatory compliance, and maintenance of scientific equipment. We also have worked in partnership with NIH OD/OIT management providing 24/7 Tier II and III desktop services in support of more than 200 applications used by approximately 2,800 NIH professionals, technical, and administrative staff (3,500 if counting the Extramural Research support).
