Jacobs Technology has internship, cooperative education, and graduate opportunities available across the United States and through our parent company, Jacobs Engineering, we have similar opportunities across the globe. Our University Programs strive to offer students like yourself a positive, engaging experience which will help prepare you for challenging “real world” experiences and help you develop a desire to return to work with us again - while still enrolled in school and/or as a full-time employee.

As an intern, co-op, or recent graduate you will participate in the day-to-day operations at one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services. These opportunities provide useful, distinct hands-on experience that strengthens understanding in many engineering, technical, scientific, and military disciplines to include testing, research, operations, and maintenance just to name a few.

Our student employees work with project managers and administrators to develop a mentoring relationship that benefits the students as well as employees and managers. Due to the diverse nature of our work at our business units in the United States, the following descriptions may vary slightly by location.

Opportunities for: Internships* Usually 10-12 weeks, running May to August Available to Bachelors, Masters, and PhD Candidates Cooperative Education* 2 to 3 term commitment for working on location Spring, Summer and/or Fall terms May be continuous work terms or alternating between school and work Available to Bachelors, Masters, and PhD Candidates Recent Graduates* Intern, Co-op, to Full time – great networking and exposure “Fresh-Out” – direct hires with less than 1 year experience Research, tasking, or other special initiatives (*Individual business unit offerings may vary)
