Other Defense Agencies
Jacobs provides a variety of engineering, technical, operational, and information technology services across several other Defense Agencies. For over a decade, we have supported the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and their responsibilities training and equipping Special Operations Forces (SOF) to perform their missions anywhere in the world at any time. Our involvement has included developing, acquiring, fielding, and supporting special operations-peculiar equipment, material, supplies, and other support elements. We have also assisted their planning, direction, and execution of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). In 2008, our work expanded into the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Jacobs’ support for the USCENTCOM includes our oversight of their communications center and C4I system. Working with DISA has given us the opportunity to engage all aspects of information technology support. The following contracts highlight our support within these other Defense Agencies:

Global Battlestaff and Program Support (GBPS) for the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and the Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) more
 Through the GBPS contract, Jacobs personnel support USSOCOM, its component Service commands, and the Theater Special Operations Commands at various locations throughout the United States and OCONUS. Jacobs and its subcontractor personnel provide support in the areas of time sensitive planning; interagency support; intelligence operations; military planning, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) program analysis; biometrics, socio-cultural analysis, geospatial analysis, signals intelligence, and human terrain initiatives with ISR support; administrative support; public affairs; training; accounting; budgeting; joint support, budget and resource management activities; readiness planning and reporting; personnel and manpower accountability and reporting; acquisition and life cycle program management; procurement support; engineering support including research, development, science, technology, and systems engineering; graphics support and other business for USSOCOM and its subordinate organizations. – hide |
Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Contract for the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) more
 Jacobs provides expert services for developing, documenting, structuring, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring delivery of USSOCOM's IT service management processes, procedures, and performance, including continuous improvement of all of USSOCOM's IT service areas. This includes support to USSOCOM in coordinating, integrating, and synchronizing the services from best-of-breed IT Service Area Providers. Jacobs operates and manages an integrated, enterprise-wide Service Desk. Our services include oversight of the SITEC vendors providing services such as Data Center Services, which includes enterprise-wide centrally and remotely located servers and data storage equipment and software; Enterprise Network Services, including all enterprise-wide WAN and LAN data, voice, and video networking equipment and software; Distributed Computing Services, including all enterprise-wide end-user computing hardware and associated software and peripheral devices; Application Management Services, including development, maintenance, and support of enterprise and command level applications; and Specialty Services, including any combination of the above four IT service areas in support of Command-specific requirements C4I Production Services, including development and production of IT hardware and software solutions required to support unique mission needs, such as C4I TACLAN systems.

C4I Enterprise Support for the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) more
 Jacobs involvement as a major subcontractor includes providing 24/7 support operating a Consolidated Communications Center for the USCENTCOM CCJ6 with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Southeast Regional Service Center (SE-RSC). Leadership and management support is provided as well as planning, integration, operation, and maintenance of the joint theater-level communications and computer networks for USCENTCOM’s AOR. Jacobs also provides state-of-the-art, networked visual information services for the USCENTCOM Headquarters and its meeting and conference facilities. For this effort, USCENTCOM is striving to achieve full interoperability of the C4I systems on and off the battlefield among the U.S., Allied, and Coalition forces and gain efficiencies of scale to establish a world-class network operation. – hide |
