Acquisition, Logistics, Management, and Business Operations Support for USSOCOM, FL

Jacobs

Through the ALMBOS contract from 2002-2010, Jacobs supported the USSOCOM, its component Service commands, and the Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC) at various locations throughout the U.S. and Outside the Continental U.S. (OCONUS). Our 525+ personnel provided support in the areas of system acquisition and development and project support for all phases of the acquisition cycle, including program monitoring, documentation generation, review and analysis, technical management support, and requirements documentation services. Our work on the ALMBOS contract was highly diverse and unique, ranging from identifying and analyzing emerging technologies in systems engineering, lifecycle management, and simulation to deployment/sustainment in the field. Under ALMBOS, Jacobs performed on 550+ different task orders (TOs) and served as USSOCOM’s largest provider of systems engineering, analytical, and technical assistance – supporting multiple contractors and all four branches of the DOD. We supported >65 USSOCOM Technical Representatives (TRs), 62 Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs), and several contracting offices under a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) structure. Our support encompassed all aspects of test and evaluation, acquisition, information operations, joint mission analysis, advanced technology programs, readiness support, intelligence, special projects, financial management, defense analyses, and operations and training.
