Design and Engineering Support Program (DESP) for Hill AFB, Clearfield, UTJacobs Jacobs’ approximately 80 technical personnel support DOD agencies through the DESP IDIQ contract, managed by the U.S. Air Force at Ogden Air Logistics Center, UT. Using the DESP, Jacobs provides a variety of engineering and technical services for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army. Typical activities include A-10 structural analysis and repair tooling/procedures; engineering services in support of munitions sustainment; development, design, and installation of equipment and tools to enhance depot maintenance for the C-5, C-130, C-17, and F-15; technical support to improve efficiency of depot maintenance for aircraft such as the C-5, C-130, C-17, F-15, and KC-135; support for advancement of future technologies for U.S. Army ground vehicles; and technical support to U.S. Air Force test and training ranges. |
