Operation, Maintenance, Information Management, and Support for Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), Arnold AFB, TNJacobs As managing partner of the Aerospace Testing Alliance (ATA) joint venture, Jacobs manages a workforce of approximately 2,000 personnel providing operation, maintenance, information management, and support of processes, facilities, and infrastructure at the U.S. Air Force’s AEDC near Tullahoma, TN. AEDC is the world’s largest and most advanced complex of flight simulation test facilities, comprised of nearly 60 aeronautical testing facilities with a replacement value in excess of $10B. ATA conducts aerodynamic, aeropropulsion, and space testing and operates and maintains wind tunnels, engine test facilities, rocket test facilities, ranges, and space chambers. ATA also provides base operating support for utilities systems operation and maintenance, civil engineering, operation of fire and police departments, dispensary operation, and environmental remediation and stewardship. |
