Capabilities Relevant to MOBISOur understanding of the needs of an organization has evolved over years of support to aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial facilities with diverse technical and labor requirements. Our experience in providing MOBIS dates back 70 years when we began partnering with the Government to support national research, development, test, and evaluation facilities – providing first-time technical solutions that required new ways of thinking as well as new tools and processes. Since then, we have routinely managed engineering, technical, and administrative workforces of various sizes in environments where cultural transformation and incorporation of best business practices are the norm. Our success in conducting these challenging operations is based on our ability to tailor proven processes and techniques so that they are precisely matched to our customers' unique requirements. Today, we offer specialized consulting, facilitation, survey research, and program integration/project management services to government and commercial customers worldwide – this is a core part of our business. Our diverse range of knowledge and experience in MOBIS – coupled with our proven experience in professional engineering, project management, acquisition, logistics, and technical analysis – allows us to quickly and effectively understand customer needs from both a management and technical perspective. This foundation of knowledge and expertise enhances our reputation for successful contract execution that is derived from strict adherence to a rigorous, structured set of management policies and procedures consistent with MOBIS objectives. Our project management processes are enhanced through our participation in the current Department of Defense (DOD) endeavor to pursue refinement of the Capability Maturity Model-Integrated for Systems Engineering/Software Engineering (CMMISM-SE/SW) as a member of the CMMISM-SE/SW Product Development Team. In our implementation of the CMMISM-SE/SW, we are adopting several best practices, including full integration of systems and software engineering processes; customizable Guidance Factors that allow tailoring of the Standard Integrated Engineering Process across the weapons, information, database, simulation, and other systems that define the organization's technical domain; implementation of a Knowledge Management approach to training; and implementation of a mature Distributed Work Environment as the process engineering and project management backbone of the organization. The three basic components of our MOBIS service strategy are described below. We effectively combine world-class management and business expertise and a history of outstanding customer service to deliver cost effective and tailored MOBIS solutions for our customers.
